The first team picked up their first win of the campaign in their first home game of the season, winning 3-0 against Walton Casuals, who are in their first season at Step 3.

It was the Greens that drew first blood when Luke Tingey headed home a Lee Chappell corner in the 16th minute, and nine minutes later Ricardo German doubled the lead, slotting the ball home after riding a couple of challenges in the box. Late in the first half Danny Boness saved a penalty from Kyron Farrell to ensure a two goal lead at the break.

Chappell hit the corner of the goal with a free-kick early in the second half, and shortly after the hour mark Tyriq Hunte opened his goal account with a smart finish.

Walton caused some problems in the remainder of the game, but found the Greens defence in unforgiving mood, and Boness in fine form.
