As has often been the case over the years, Summers Lane proved to be a tough place to get a result, with the first team drawing 2-2 against Wingate & Finchley this afternoon.

The Greens were indebted to Niko Muir who converted two penalties either side of two goals scored by Irnti Rapai and Marc Charles-Smith.

This means that Muir has taken his tally for the season to 38, becoming just the fourth player to reach that total in a season since we joined the Isthmian League in 1963, the others being David Hyde (59 in 1964-65), Paul Whitmarsh (42 in 1998-99) and Gerry O'Rourke (39 in 1963-64).
