Hendon picked up their first league win over Wealdstone since August 2005 as they ran out 2-0 winners at The Vale this evening.

Following a goalless first half, in which Wealdstone had the better of the game, the Greens came out battling after the break. Within ten minutes they had taken the lead courtesy of a fine strike by Lee O'Leary. The lead was doubled in the 79th minute when Jamie Busby converted a penalty after Peter Dean was fouled in the box.

Berkley Laurencin had a comfortable evening in goal and was rarely tested by the home team, and the Greens held on for the three points, moving up to 15th place in the process.
