The first team built on Saturday's win by defeating big spending Billericay Town 1-0 at Silver Jubilee Park this evening. It was a superb team performance from the Greens who refused to give up and got what they deserved when Khale Da Costa scored as the game moved into stoppage time to secure all three points. It is the first time the Greens have won consecutive games in the league since February 2016.

The first half saw both sides have periods of dominance, but both defences were on top and efforts on target were at a premium, whilst both sides had penalty shouts turned down.

After the break the visitors continued to find the hosts back line difficult to get past, whilst at the other end the Greens caused problems but found clear chances limited. However, it was Da Costa who was able to find the back of the net to celebrate his return to the club after a spell at Harlow Town, and the Greens keep their hopes of avoiding relegation very much alive.

Next up is a crucial game at fellow strugglers Leatherhead - kick off at Fetcham Grove is at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
