It is with sadness that we have learnt of the passing of another former player who played in an FA Amateur Cup final.

Ron Widdowfield died on 20th September aged 71, and played for us in the 1960 FA Amateur Cup Final victory over Kingstonian at Wembley Stadium.

He made his debut on 12th December 1959 in a 1-0 defeat to Hounslow at Claremont Road in the Athenian League, and went on to make 11 appearances for the club.

Our thoughts are with Ron's family and friends at this sad time.
