Hendon kept up their unbeaten league home record this season with a 1-1 draw against a very well organised Heybridge Swifts side. Heybridge, who were very strong in defence, took the lead in the 24th minute when Stafford Browne was left unmarked at the far post to tap home after Richard Wilmot had done well to parry the ball. The Greens did however show that they never give up and picked up the equaliser in the 88th minute when the referee ruled that a Heybridge defender had handled the ball in the area. Wayne O'Sullivan stepped up and cooly slotted the ball into the net.
