The first team returned to winning ways this evening with a clinical 4-1 win over Cray Valley Paper Mills to open their defence of the London Senior Cup.

The Greens took control of the game with three goals in 14 minutes during the first half. Firstly Sam Murphy converted a spot kick after Aaron Morgan was fouled just inside the box, and then Oliver Sprague finished off a fine move firing the ball into the roof of the net. On the half hour mark Aaron Morgan also scored.

The second half was a quieter affair until the last ten minutes. Jordan Sandiford pulled a goal back for the visitors, before Leon Smith scored an exquisite chip to secure the win.

Another home tie awaits in the quarter finals, with the winners of the game between Greenhouse Sports and Croydon up next. They play their 2nd round tie on 9th December.
