The under 16s today reached the Harrow Youth League Cup Final for their age group with a 2-1 win at Springfield despite going a goal behind in the 17th minute to a 35 yard drive. Two minutes later parity was restored when Conor Newman converted a penalty, before Yomi Smith scored what turned out to be the winner in the 30th minute. The Greens had goalkeeper Jermaine Ankrah to thank for a number of fine saves as they held on to earn the right to meet Hampstead in the final, the date of which will be confirmed in due course.

Elsewhere this weekend, the under 21s beat Uxbridge Town 3-1, Simon Connaughton, Michael Roache and Ercan Yildarim on the scoresheet, whilst the under 15s won 4-2 against Pinner Albion, Nasser Elmi and Abdi Osman scoring two goals each.
