Leon Smith became the first player for 89 years to score in eight consecutive games this evening. As a result, Leon has equalled the all-time club record set by Oscar Reinke set way back in 1925.

As mentioned at the weekend, Leon is only the fourth player in the club's history to have scored in seven straight games - now he becomes only the second to score in eight consecutive games. It does mean that those who are going to Dorchester on Saturday have a chance to see a new all-time club record being set.
