The new season got off to a perfect start as the Greens won 2-0 at home to Bury Town.

It was a comfortable win, and the opening goal came in the 19th minute courtesy of Leon Smith, whilst a debut goal from Kezie Ibe came just six minutes later when he was set up by Smith.

George Legg was well protected by the experienced Hendon back line, and the three points were secured with no fuss.
