Work in progress says Gary

Following the friendly at Tring Athletic last night, Gary McCann knows there is still work to do before the start of the season.

"There were some positives, but I don't think we are quite where I want us to be," he said. "The biggest issue is in the final third, but we have a number of games to get it right.

"At the moment we have 15 or 16 bodies for 10 places so we have three weeks to get the right formations and combinations.

"But credit to them, they made it a very competitive encounter. We had to match them but we had enough about us to match them."
