Goals from three teenage debutants ensured progression to the quarter finals of the London Senior Cup this evening as the Greens won 3-1 at Croydon.

Junior Morias was the first to find the back of the net in the 28th minute when he converted a spot kick, and that was it for goal action until the dying minutes of the game. In the 87th minute Croydon equalised, but that just sparked the Greens into life. A minute later Rouchy Efambe restored the lead, and in the second minute of stoppage time Lee Angol completed the scoring.

Sam Flegg was the fourth debutant to take part in the game, which also saw the return to action for Sean Thomas, making his first appearance since suffering an injury in the first half of the FA Cup tie against Potters Bar Town.

Our reward for reaching the quarter finals is a short trip to Wingate & Finchley. The date for the game will be announced in due course.
