Hendon suffered their first defeat of pre-season as Hayes & Yeading United won 3-2 at The Hive this afternoon.

However, the first half belonged to the Greens, and they deservedly took the lead in the 15th minute through Scott Shulton, and the lead was doubled two minutes later when Bradley Wadkins took advantage of a defensive slip to score.

With Hendon making far more changes than their opposition, it was no surprise that Hayes came back into the game through Mark Bentley after 52 minutes, with Manny Williams equalising in the 69 minute. The winning goal came seven minutes later when Victor Osobu, a former Hendon trialist, found the back of the net.
