Preparations for the new season have taken pace behind the scenes, with Gary McCann already starting to put his squad and pre-season in place. He has had several positive meetings with the club board since the end of last season and has again committed to the Greens' for the coming year, with preparations already well advanced.

Gary held a meeting with the majority of last season's squad last week, with the players saying they are already committed to attempting to surpass this season's efforts and the management looking for just a couple of additions in order to achieve our best season since they took charge. As players put pen to paper and are formally signed, we will confirm the make-up of next season's squad.

Kit was ordered from Adidas on Friday, with the hope that if they can fulfill our order we will be wearing green and white stripes this coming season while our intended away shirt is all-orange with black trim. As soon as we have the actual design confirmed we will be making arrangements for replicas, putting in place the lessons we learnt this season!

Finally, the pre-season program is taking shape - we hope to release more details about this in the next few days.
