It all goes down to the last day

Hendon's play off hopes hang by a thread following tonight's results which saw Wealdstone win 2-0 at Margate, and Lowestoft Town win 2-0 at Cray Wanderers.

This means, that for the Greens to make the play-offs on Saturday, they must win at Aveley and hope that Lewes drop points at home to Harrow Borough, and that Bury Town lose at Tooting & Mitcham United. There also needs to be a 6 goal swing between Bury and the Greens.

Whilst the odds are now stacked against the Greens, Gary McCann and the squad will be keen to do everything in their power to get a positive result at Aveley on Saturday afternoon, and they hope to see a big Hendon turnout to cheer them on - and you never know - the unlikely could just happen.
