Hendon kept their play-off hopes alive this afternoon as they beat Kingstonian 2-1 in the first part of the double header against the K's. The South London side will now be looking for revenge in the London Senior Cup final on Wednesday evening.

With Lewes winning 1-0 at Cray Wanderers, the results today leave the Greens in 6th place, just one point of 5th place, although Cray and Wealdstone still have games in hand, the Stones being 2-1 winners over AFC Hornchurch. The other contender for the play-offs are Canvey Island, who beat Leatherhead 3-1.

It was Kingstonian who took the lead when Saheed Sankoh scored in the 7th minute, but the Greens hit back immediately as Carl McCluskey found the back of the net to score his 10th goal of the campaign.

Hendon were on top for much of the first half, but the second period was much more even, and it took some excellent play from Jerome Federico and Isaiah Rankin to set up Jack Mazzone to score the winner.
