Hendon will look on today as two points dropped as they could only draw 1-1 at home to Carshalton Athletic. The visitors drew first blood as Rikki Banks misjudged a cross and was unable to get to the ball, leaving an open goal for Ola Sogbanmu to head home.

Around ten minutes later, Darren Currie released Elliott Godfrey into the penalty area where the midfielder was unceremoniously bundled over by Merrick James-Lewis. Jamie Busby kept up his excellent record from the penalty spot, sending Hamann the wrong way and bringing the Greens' back level.

The main incident of note in the second half was the dismissal of Kevin Maclaren, who the referee ruled had used his elbow while shielding the ball from Paul Vines. It left space in midfield, but the Robins seemed unable to take advantage, while Hendon failed to test Hamann with the few chances that fell to them at the other end.
