A 116th minute winner from Belal Aite-Ouakrim earnt Hendon a London Senior Cup semi-final trip to AFC Wimbledon as the Greens beat Harrow Borough 2-1 this evening. AFC Wimbledon, who now play in League 2, beat Metropolitan Police 5-0. The date for the semi-final will be announced in due course.

The Greens fielded a much changed side, whilst Harrow were close to full strength. The first half was largely uneventful, other than a fierce drive from Dave Diedhiou that hit the woodwork.

It was a similar story in the second half, until the 70th minute when Aite-Ouakrim scored his first of the evening, turning home a cross from Elliott Godfrey following excellent work from Jerome Federico. However, just seven minutes later, Harrow were level when poor defending at a corner allowed Aaron Tumwa to turn the ball into the net.

The first half of extra-time saw very little goalmouth action, whilst shortly before Aite-Ouakrim scored what turned out to be the winner, Harrow striker Jon-Jo Bates took his turn to hit the woodwork, and after the Aite-Ouakrim's goal, the Greens held out to secure the victory and progression to their second semi-final of the season.
