Hendon were deservedly beaten by Leatherhead this afternoon at Vale Farm, going down to a 2-1 defeat.

The game started well for the Greens, with Elliott Charles converting an early penalty, but the Tanners fought back into the game and equalised through Kevin Terry shortly before the half-hour mark. The winner came in the 34th minute when the visitors found the way through to goal once again.

The second half saw Hendon play better, but they found Leatherhead in a very resolute mood and thus very difficult to break down.
