The season continues this evening as East Thurrock United are our visitors to Vale Farm, in a game that will kick off at 7:45pm.

The Essex side, who were promoted from Division One North in the summer, have had a mixed start to the campaign, but come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win at home to Horsham on Saturday afternoon, Neil Richmond scoring the goal in the 70th minute. They have also picked up points by winning at Tooting & Mitcham United and drawing at home to Wealdstone.

There is one familiar face in the East Thurrock squad, as Sam Collins makes a rapid return to Vale Farm, following his opening day substitute appearance for Concord Rangers. Sam moved to East Thurrock ahead of the win at Horsham.

Hendon are likely to go into the game without three players who picked up knocks on Saturday. However, Gary McCann is confident that the strength in depth in the squad will result in a positive outcome this evening.

The good news is that although Casey Maclaren is unlikely to play this evening, he did not suffer a break on Saturday, so should be back in action much sooner than originally feared. Both Ryan Wharton and James Fisher are also likely to be missing after picking up knocks in Margate.

We hope that as many of you as possible will be at Vale Farm to cheer the team on as they look to continue the excellent start to the campaign.
