The first team have progressed to the final of the London Senior Cup by winning 3-2 at AFC Wimbledon this evening in a pulsating semi final.

The Greens took the lead through Rakatahr Hudson, his first goal since returning to the club, but rode their luck for the remainder of the half. They put in a better showing early in the 2nd half and were rewarded when Greg Ngoyi doubled the lead in the 64th minute.

However, Christian Jolley pulled a goal back for the Wombles a minute later, and eight minutes from time, Reece Jones equalised to take the game into extra time.

The winning goal came in the 105th minute, when Dave Diedhiou found the back of the net after a Scott Cousins cross had caused chaos in front of the home goal, and the Greens were able to hold on to secure progression the final.
