Travel warning for tomorrow

We would like to advise all those planning to attend the game tomorrow that the M1 is closed all weekend between Junction 1 and Junction 4. This means that traffic in NW London will be even busier than anticipated.

The M1 closure is due to a major fire in the Mill Hill area. Consequently all other routes to the Wembley area, particularly the M40 & A40 are likely to be very busy, even allowing for our early 1pm kick off for the game against Horsham. Therefore we advise that you allow plenty of time for your journey, even if you only have a short distance to travel.

The goods news is that the trains in the area should be operating as normal. The Piccadilly, Bakerloo and London Overground lines should all be operating a normal service.

We hope that everyone has a safe journey to the game, and then home again afterwards.
