Long trip ahead tomorrow

Tomorrow evening sees our busy schedule of games continue as we make one of the longest trips of the season to play Margate at Hartsdown Park.

The Thanet side, who have recently had planning permission granted to redevelop their ground, have had a mixed season, spending much of it so far towards the bottom end of the table. They did pick up three important points on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Hastings United, who themselves are suffering a rotten run of results at the moment.

The Greens will be keen to put the disappointment of losing at Wealdstone behind them, and will be equally as keen to ensure that chances are taken in front of goal when they come along.

Last season honours were even with both teams winning on their opponents ground. At Vale Farm in September, Margate ran out 2-1 winners, Glenn Garner scoring the goal, whilst at Hartsdown Park in February, goals from Jamie Busby, James Bent and Peter Dean earnt a 3-2 victory.

There are still spaces available on the coach, if you would like to travel, please email us on admin@hendonfc.net. Unfortunately we are currently unable to take bookings by phone.

Kick off at Hartsdown Park is at 7.45pm, and the squad look forward to seeing those of you who are able to make the journey.

For those unable to be there, we should have our normal Livescores service operating, with updates on the messageboard and the club twitter feed.
