Two powerful stikes past 'keeper Ashley Harrison gave Hendon a shock win, as they adapted better to the conditions than top of the table Canvey Island. The Dons played with the stong wind behind them in the first half, and dominated overall, but could only force the ball home once despite a number of good chances, Adekola scoring with great power. Canvey made full use of the wind in the second half, and won a number of corners, from which they got their goal. However, Hendon made a number of inspired changes and all three substitutes combined as Haule placed the ball under the keeper late in the game.
