In a dire, unforgetable game at the LOOT Stadium today, Hendon drew 1-1 with Yeading in a pre season friendly. Hendon took the lead in the 25th minute with a Davis Haule penalty, before Yeading equalised with a penalty early in the second half. Five players were asked to leave the pitch as tackles flew in. Hendon fielded four more new players in former Harrow Borough keeper David Hook, Ghanian under 21 international striker Eugene Ofori, former Gravesend & Northfleet defender Dexley Fidyk and Lee Groves. Also making his first appearance of the season was Gil Gomes.
