Against all the odds, Hendon won themselves a replay against Cambridge City on Tuesday night, drawing 1-1 at the Dr Martens league side's City Ground. Hendon probably had the better chances in the first half, Randall and Copper in particular being unlucky not to score whilst at the other end, the Lilywhites were hit by the injury of key striker Roy Essendoh. Their best chances were denied by an excellent double save from Hook. Hendon were then left bemused by the dismissal of Binns just before half-time, presumably for violent conduct. However, The Greens refused to cave in to pressure from Cambridge, instead taking the lead from a rare free kick, Bubb only hitting the bar but Ofori being in the right spot to slot in the rebound. However, City equalised shortly after through Tim Wooding's free kick which had Hook beten all ends up.
