Hendon Reserves opened their new season with a disappointing defeat at the hands of Brook House's first team. Craig Ravenscroft gave Hendon the lead, but Brook House took advantage of a defensive error to equalise. A brilliant display by goalkeeper Danny Burton kept the scoreline down until half-time. Early in the second half, Brook House took the lead. Hendon had chances to get back into the game, only for Brook House to seal victory with a late 3rd goal. Manager Mark Turner said was very disappointed with the performance, but pointed that he had a lot of trialists on show and a few players unavailable.
