Greens win comfortably

Hendon won todays fixture at Claremont Road comfortably, running out 2-0 winners over languishing visitors Braintree Town. The Greens made most of the running and created the best chances throughout the match. The first goal came on 19 minutes, throw from left finding Steve Forbes who was hacked down, but managed to get the ball through to Crace who slamed it home. The second came late in the 82nd minute, Forbes dribbled from the halfway line through to the penalty area, but his shot rebounded of the keeper for Randall to knock home. Randall, Clarke, Ofori and Howarth all failed to convert other chances in the game, but ultimately the two goals were enough
