Hendon started this seasons Middlesex Senior Cup defence in the same way they fought their campaign last season, putting five goals past Hillingdon Borough. The first came in the 14th minute, a Kieran Gallagher free kick being finished off by Steve Butler. Ofori added the second in the 45th minute, Randall latching onto a through ball from Bates, and squaring the ball for Ofori to sweep home. Mark McGinty pulled one back for Hillingdon in the 58th minute, to give Borough a lifeline, but just five minutes later Paul Yates scored from around two yards after a long goalmouth scramble. Gallagher added the fourth in the 69th minute from a free kick just outside the area, and the fifth came from Crace in the 82nd.
