Hendon continued their excellent away form this season with a 2-0 win at Grays Athletic, courtesy of two goals in four minutes. After a goalless first half in which there were no clear cut attempts on goal at either end, Hendon took the lead against the run of play in the 58th minute when Jack Midson crossed the ball low to Steve Forbes who slotted the ball into the net. Just a few minutes later Midson challenged the Grays keeper for the ball just outside the area which resulted in the keeper losing possession to Iain Duncan, who fired the ball into the penalty area and Eugene Ofori was on hand to head the ball home for his first goal since his return from Ghana. The evening was soured in the 75th minute when Duncan was sent off for a late challenge from behind but the Greens held on for a deserved win
