A 55th minute penalty converted by Martin Randall was enough to give the Greens all three points at Ford United this evening. In a closely fought game, both sides had chances to open the scoring in the first half both keepers making a couple of good saves. The penalty came when Randall was scythed down in the area by a Ford defender and referee Gary Evetts and his assistant were very well placed to award the spot kick. It must be said that all three match officials had excellent games this evening. The workrate this evening was excellent once again and the team now move on to the Hayes game on Saturday full of confidence.
