The reserves lost 5-2 at Chesham United tonight, and went a goal behind in the 22nd minute when Gary Sippetts fired the ball home. Just two minutes later Matt Skinner had doubled the lead before Andy Hutchinson reduced the arrears when he fired the ball through a crowded penalty area from a Gary Meakin free kick. However, Ben Smith restored the two goal advantage within 30 seconds, and just before half time Sippetts scored his second of the evening. Matt Skinner scored Chesham's fifth goal early in the second half, before Simon Huggett missed a penalty after Gary Meakin was fouled in the area. Hendon's second goal came in the 65th minute when Joel Beavis bundled the ball home after Mark Burgess had put the ball back into the six yard box. Hendon played much better in the final 20 minutes but it was too little too late.

Mention must be made of Andrew Vincent who made his reserve team debut tonight replacing Luke Thornton in goal at the age of 17. Andrew has been part of our youth set up for some time now, and is one of our regular supporters at first team games home and away.
