The Supporters Association Committee had their monthly meeting last night that was also attended by Ivor Arbiter, Dave Bedford and Graham Etchell. The meeting was, as usual, very frank and open and left the Committee feeling very positive about recent developments and the long term future of Hendon Football Club.

The club are in the process of completing a press release that will clarify the club's position and the way forward. The press release will be as detailed as it can be and answer some very important questions. One piece of information that we are pleased to announce is that Dave Bedford has been invited and accepted onto the Board of Directors. This will have a major impact on the club and we are very fortunate to have such a high profile individual on board. Dave is a former athlete, and is the race director of the London Marathon as well as being involved with Shaftesbury Harriers. We ask that supporters are patient while the press release is put together, as the club needs to ensure that it answers as many questions as possible.

During our meeting we also discussed the communication between supporters and the Association. We on the Committee have an important role to play in the club and we are each open to speaking to any supporter. It is down to you to make use of this. In light of this we have created a Supporters Liaison post that will be held by John Rice. He will be your contact within the Committee and can be contacted via email on johnerice@clara.co.uk. Any serious points you raise will be addressed to the Committee at our monthly meeting.

The meeting last night shows this club has an incredible future ahead of it. The way forward is for each and every Hendon fan to do their bit to raise this club's profile and support it at every opportunity. So let's pull forward together.
