David Bedford has given his first interview as a director of Hendon FC in todays Non-League Paper. In it, he sheds more light on the decision not to take up the place earned in the Conference South, revealing that costs were one of the contributry factors in the board's shock decision. Plans for the future are also discussed in the interview, with the unveiling of a new kit sponsorship deal with Adidas, plans to take the club to Copthall by Christmas and to "make (the club) financially sound" in the near future before taking the next step.
