Hendon lost 3-1 at Berkhamsted Town this evening in the third friendly of the pre-season campaign. The Greens put in a very good first half performance and deservedly took the lead after 16 minutes when Dave Hunt scored following some good build up play involving Richard McDonagh and John Frendo. Twelve minutes later Frendo had a goal inexplicably disallowed for offside and shortly before half time Berkhamsted equalised with a goal that had a strong suspicion of offside about it! Following the half time changes, Hendon lost their shape and were punished as Berkhamsted scored in the 61st and 76th minutes. The Berkhamsted substitute keeper was in fine form and kept out chances from Frendo and Eugene Ofori with excellent saves.
