An injury time goal from Martin Vhrovski was enough to take Hendon through to the next round of the FA Cup as they beat Holmer Green 1-0. The Greens had created a number of chances during the game, but either saw the shots go wide, over the bar, or well saved by visiting keeper Chris Tullett. Holmer Green also had chances, and always looked dangerous on the break, particularly when Marcus Fearon was in possession. It looked almost certain that the game was going to a replay when Vhrovski struck a fierce shot through a crowd of players into the net to win the tie.
