Hendon put in another disappointing performance this afternoon as they lost 3-1 to Billericay Town. The Essex side took the lead in the 22nd minute when former Green Kieran Gallagher scored a good goal following some excellent build up play. Just six minutes later Neil Cousins doubled the lead when Billericay got a fortunate ricochet off the referee. However, Hendon were back in the game just two minutes later when Ross Pickett scored with a deft flick over the keeper. Billericay regained their two goal advantage six minutes into the second half when Cousins fired home after Gallagher broke down the Hendon left, and they were able to hold on comfortably for the win as the Greens failed to create much in the way of chances.
