Despite going down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Carshalton Athletic this afternoon, Hendon put in a decent performance, and were rewarded for their efforts in stoppage time when James Burgess scored his second goal of the season from close range. Carshalton won the game in the first five minutes of the second half with goals from Richard Jolly and Charlie Ide. Results elsewhere today meant that Hendon finished the season in 16th place.
