A 71st minute John Frendo free kick was enough to earn Hendon all three points as they won 1-0 at Windsor & Eton this afternoon. It was a scrappy game on a difficult pitch and neither side created a huge amount in the way of clear cut chances. The Hendon goal came when Eugene Ofori was brought down just outside the penalty area by Dave Tilbury, and Frendo stepped up and curled the free kick just inside the near post with the Windsor keeper Chuck Martini nothing more than a spectator. The result has moved Hendon some five places up the table into 13th place.
