Hendon were left rueing a soft penalty as they drew 1-1 at Staines Town. The Greens took the lead in the 15th minute when James Parker made a superb run through midfield to feed the ball into Gary Meakin, who rounded the keeper to slot the ball into an empty net for his first senior goal for the club. The equaliser came in the 71st minute when Michael Currie was pulled down in the penalty area, and Currie himself stepped up to convert the spot kick, despite Dave King managing to get a hand to the ball.
