The summer remedial work on the pitch started this week. The contractors cut the pitch very short, and then rotovated the soil. Plenty of sand was added to it to continue to help the drainage and the whole pitch has been reseeded. This means the pitch has 7 weeks to settle down prior to the Bishop Auckland friendly.
