Hendon were able to build on the midweek win at Wealdstone this afternoon as they beat Bromley 2-1 at Claremont Road. The Greens took the lead in the 18th minute when Danny Julienne hit a fine shot across the goal and the Bromley keeper Andy Walker could only help it into the net. Eleven minutes later Walker was caught in no mans land when John Frendo found himself in space 30 yards out and he sent a delicious lob over the keeper and it bounced into the roof of the net. The Bromley goal came in the 79th minute when Nic McDonnell bundled the ball home, but the Greens were unfortunate not to add to their tally, Walker making a couple of very important saves.
