The under 18's won their Westview Youth Cup first round tie against Edgware Town 1-0 this evening. The decisive goal was scored from the penalty spot in the 80th minute by Eddie Mohammed after an Edgware defender handled the ball in the area. It was Hendon who had the better chances to score otherwise, the best falling to Otis Kingsley, Francois Gabbidon and Stephan Chambers-Bignall. The reward for progressing in the cup is a home tie against either Redbridge or Ware who are yet to play their first round tie. They are in action again tomorrow afternoon when they entertain North Greenford United Social Reserves at Copthall Playing Fields.
