A goal two minutes from the final whistle by Dave Hunt earnt Hendon a deserved point for a hard working, spirited performance against Slough Town this afternoon. Following a goalless first half, Slough drew first blood when Gareth McCleary fired home a superb strike that Dave King could do nothing about. After masses of hard work throughout the game, the endeavour of the Greens was rewarded when Dave Hunt headed home from six yards after excellent work from Blaise O'Brien and Andy Cook to set up the chance.
