Gary McCann has sent a message to all Hendon supporters following yesterday's disappointment.

"The taste of relegation hurts badly, both my staff and players failed all of our great supporters. You have all supported us magnificently this season. But one thing is for sure, the experience will make us stronger and better for the future. We will now start preparing to build a side for an immediate return to the Premier Division. Thanks again for all the support received this year, we really do appreciate it."
