After much deliberation Lee O'Leary has decided to join AFC Wimbledon following their approach last week. Speaking to Greensnet this evening prior to training Gary McCann said that the move was one that Lee felt he couldn't really turn down and that he'd regret it if he did. It also shows what a good job he has done in midfield for us this season that the opportunity has arisen. Whilst there is no doubt that the loss of Lee's services is a blow to the club, Gary is confident that the squad will regroup and continue the run of good performances as we head into the last few weeks of the season. Lee made 51 appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals, and he goes with the good wishes from everyone at Hendon. Also, everyone would like to thank Lee for all the hard work and quality performances he has put in over the past year.
