Greens lose to late goal

Hendon lost to a late Vinnie John goal as they went down 2-1 at East Thurrock United this afternoon.

George Ruffell Memorial Trophy

The George Ruffell Memorial Trophy game against Wealdstone has been rearranged and, subject to final confirmation by the Middlesex FA, will take place on Tuesday, 28th September at Claremont Road, kick off 7.

Dons lose at Berko

Hendon lost 3-1 at Berkhamsted Town this evening in the third friendly of the pre-season campaign.

Reserve team fixtures

The reserve team fixtures have been announced today and we will open with a trip to Yeading on Wednesday 1st September.

Haringey Borough date change

The Middlesex Millenium Cup game due to be played on Saturday 7th August has been postponed and will now be played on Sunday 22nd August at Haringey Borough.

Six goals shared at Heathrow

Hendon and Waltham Forest shared six goals this afternoon in the friendly played at Heathrow Club in Hayes.

Autumn minisoccer school

The club are now taking bookings for the Autumn term of the Minisoccer school.

Greens open with victory

Hendon took to the field for their first friendly this evening at Boreham Wood, fielding a starting line up that contained eight players who had previously made first team appearances in the form of Dave King, Scott Cousins, Mark Burgess, James Burgess, Dave Hunt, Jaz Rose, John Frendo and the returning Rene Street.

Waltham Forest venue confirmed

The game on Saturday against Waltham Forest will take place at the Heathrow Club, Printing House Lane, Hayes.

Youth team round up

The Under 12's were the first Hendon team in action in pre-season this year on Sunday morning, and despite going down to a heavy 14-0 defeat to Borehamwood 2000, manager John Creith was able to find plenty of positives from the performance and was confident that the squad would be ready when the competitive season starts in September.

Arsenal shirt up for auction

As one of Dave Anderson's last acts as manager of Hendon FC, he managed to obtain a framed shirt signed by last season's unbeaten Premiership winning Arsenal squad, which was presented to the Supporters Association to obtain further funds with.

First glimpse of new kit

At last week's Supporters Association meeting, Dave Bedford gave supporters a first look at the new kit to be produced by Adidas.

London Senior Cup draw

The draw for the London Senior Cup has been made, and we have been seeded into the Fourth Round where we will meet the winners of the tie between Croydon and Croydon Athletic at Claremont Road.

New son the Waltham Forest game

Unsurprisingly, it has been decided that the Claremont Road pitch will not be ready in time for the friendly next Saturday against Waltham Forest.

Wealdstone game postponed

Thursday evening's George Ruffell Memorial Trophy game against Wealdstone has been postponed as neither club is able to stage the game, due to the respective pitches not yet being ready.

Boreham Wood game definitely on

Supporters will be pleased to know that the friendly at Boreham Wood on Tuesday evening will definitely go ahead as planned.

Under 12s game on Sunday

Our Under 12 side, under the leadership of new manager John Creith, are in action for the first time on Sunday morning when they play Boreham Wood in a pre-season friendly.

Mike Rayner moves on

Despite the confirmation that he was staying at Claremont Road earlier this week, it was announced last night that physio Mike Rayner has been appointed to take over in the same position at Kingsmeadow having been made an offer he couldn't refuse.

Mark Cooper injury update

Supporters will be delighted to know that Mark Cooper is now out of plaster following is achilles injury suffered in the Middlesex Senior Cup final last season.
