Hendon Under-15s, under the direction of manager Rab Shabaan for the first time, suffered their first reverse of the season, drawing 1-1 against Apoel. The first goal Hendon have conceded in the League arrived after 15 minutes, but the equaliser arrived 10 minutes later, courtesy of Marcel BYFIELD. Although Hendon had plenty of chances to snatch a victory in the second half, these opportunities were spurned. "We were very disjointed today," admitted assistant manager Tony Moran. My man of the match was goalkeeper Ashley TRODDEN, who made 3 outstanding saves."

Hendon Under-15s recorded a superb victory against opposition from a higher division when they overcame Pinner United in the Middlesex Youth Cup on Sunday morning. Franklyn MORRIS gave Hendon a 17th minute lead and it was extended by Richard CAMPBELL, 7 minutes later. CAMPBELL was on the mark again 6 minutes before half-time, giving the Dons a 3-goal lead at the
break. And CAMPBELL completed a fine hat-trick 10 minutes into the second half. Eight minutes later, Marcel BYFIELD got in on the act and the final goal, also from BYFIELD, came in the 62nd minute. | Sunday 12th October - Ealing Shamrock A 3 Hendon 5 |
Hendon Under-15s produced a magnificent performance in overcoming Ealing Shamrock "A" in the Middlesex Youth Cup on Sunday morning. Playing a team from the Harrow Youth League Premier Division, Hendon showed the gap in stature was false. Richard CAMPBELL opened the scoring after 15 minutes, but Hendon were pulled back on the half-hour. CAMPBELL restored Hendon's advantage 4 minutes before half-time and CAMPBELL then completed his hat-trick 11 minutes after the break. A freak downfield clearance from an Ealing defender on the half-way line was blown by the wind and bounced into the net to make it 3-2 after 57 minutes, but Aaron SILCOTT made it 4-2 just after the hour mark. Ealing then laid siege on the Hendon goal and it was no surprise when they made it 4-3 to set up a grandstand finish. However, substitute Anthony WRIGHT settled the match - and Hendon nerves with a goal 6 minutes from time. "This was painful for me to watch," said manager Tony Moran. "We battled so hard and got the win, so it was okay in the end. All 13 players I used today were outstanding so they will share the man of the match award today."

| Sunday 5th October - Hendon 2 Harefield United 5 |
Hendon Under-15s went out of the Harrow Youth League Cup after a fine battling performance against Harefield United at Copthall Playing Fields on Sunday morning. Playing a team a couple of divisions above them, and missing 4 key players was a combination that was just too much for Hendon to overcome. They conceded a goal in the opening 2 minutes and another before half-time, then a couple more early in the second half. However, Hendon got back into the game when Aaron SILCOTT reduced the
arrears and then Richard CAMPBELL made it 4-2. Harefield were now distinctly on the back foot and a 3rd Hendon goal at this stage would have made it very interesting; instead, Harefield got a break, made it 5-2 and held on. "We couldn't overcome the loss of those 4 key players today," said manager Tony Moran. "I had to give two players their first starts for the
team but they had played only 20 minutes between them for us before today. My man of the match was goalkeeper Ashley TRODDEN."

The scoring continued in the same vein in the second half with Campbell adding two more to his tally, Byfield finding the back of the net again along with substitues Francis Alo and Acquir Hussain. Assistant manager Tony Moran said "This was an excellent performance. I must mention the back four who reduced our opponents to just two chances all game. The face that two of our substitutes scored proves that we have a strong squad. My man of the match this week is Richard Campbell.

| Saturday 26th July - Under 15s continue under new manager |
Our Under 15s side will look to the leadership of Rab Chibane and Tony Moran for the new season, with their coach for the last two years, Gary Giessing having moved onto coach Arsenal FC's youngsters. Despite their free scoring ways, the side struggled to make much headway in the league table, and this will be something they look to improve in the coming season.
