Hendon's first team were left embarrassed on Friday evening as they were beaten 10-7 by the clubs supporters team at Vale Farm.
The first team ran into a four goal lead, with Marc Kirby opening the scoring in the 3rd minute. Moments later Marc Leach doubled the lead, before James Parker got on the scoresheet in the 6th minute. Leach scored his second in the 9th minute, before the Supporters pulled a goal back through Nick McMullen.
Lubomir Guentchev restored the four goal advantage after a quarter of an hour, before Leach completed his hat-trick after 22 minutes. By this time Gary McCann had taken over in goal for the Supporters and his experience gave added stability to their defence.
Before half-time (the game was played 30 minutes each way) both Andrew Vincent and Paul Butler found the back of the net to make the scoreline 6-3 to the first team at the break.
The Supporters took control of the game in the second half. In the 37th minute they were awarded a penalty when Parker handled the ball, and six year old striker Joe-Ollie McCann stepped up and sent Freddie Hyatt the wrong way to score. Three minutes later Jake Osborn scored his first goal of the game, and he added to that just two minutes later.
In the 50th minute Joe-Ollie McCann ran through numerous first team challenges and rolled the ball home from 10 yards, before Jake Osborn completed his hat-trick just a minute later. Under 15 goalkeeper Charlie Osborn, playing in an unfamiliar midfield role, scored shortly afterwards, before eleven year old Tommy Hyatt scored a late consolation from the penalty spot for the first team to complete the scoring for the evening.
